Laurie's Experience
Because she relates to changes in women’s bodies and because she understands their concerns, Laurie chose to concentrate on women’s health. It is important that women understand how the choices they make about diet, activity and lifestyle impact how they look and feel especially since people live longer these days. Educating women about these importance choices is one of Laurie’s passions.
Laurie received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Texas Women’s University Dallas, her MSN from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and her BSN from the University of Evansville, Indiana. Other experiences include teaching nurse practitioner students at Texas Women’s University Denton, teaching nursing students at Georgia State in Atlanta, teaching childbirth education for 20+ years and working in labor and delivery for 15+ years. In addition, Laurie
has been certified as a doula, lactation consultant and a Lamaze instructor.
Laurie's Family
